Corrosion-Resistant Alloy Blades: Enhancing Pelletizer Efficiency and Longevity

In the process of plastic recycling and pelletizing, various plastic melt strands exert mechanical and frictional stresses on the cutting tools and edges. Therefore, the requirements for the cutting tools in the pelletizing process are extremely high.

Our cutting blades of plastic strand pelletizers are made of tungsten carbide alloy. Tungsten carbide has an extremely high hardness, second only to diamond, enabling it to machine many difficult-to-cut materials. The high hardness and wear resistance of tungsten carbide ensure that the cutting edges remain sharp for extended periods, allowing for long-term pelletizing without the need for frequent tool replacements due to dullness, thus avoiding unnecessary costs. Additionally, tungsten carbide offers excellent corrosion resistance, making it resistant to erosion from plastic pellets containing acids, alkalis, or oxidizers.

Furthermore, the lace wheel of plastic strand pelletizers is made of 38CrMoAl, which is also a high-quality material.

The entire stand pelletizer's head assembly is precision-cut using wire EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining), ensuring high bearing concentricity, low failure rates, and reduced noise. The machine frame is designed for easy disassembly, maintenance, and quick cleaning.
